Senior Network Administrator Needed! We are actively seeking a seasoned and proficient Senior Network Administrator to become an integral part of our dynamic team. As a Senior Network Administrator, you will wield your expertise to ensure the seamless and efficient operation of our network infrastructure, crucial for supporting a high-traffic website and internal systems. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure, encompassing routers, switches, firewalls, and other critical network devices. Vigilantly monitor network performance and promptly troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability, particularly for LAMP stack-based systems. Implement robust security measures to safeguard the network against cyber threats and unauthorized access. Configure and manage VPNs, VLANs, and other advanced network technologies to facilitate seamless remote access and interdepartmental communication. Collaborate closely with other IT teams and departments to strategize and execute network upgrades and expansions. Conduct routine network audits and execute enhancements to elevate efficiency and scalability. Provide comprehensive technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT teams as necessary. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in network administration to continually enhance our network infrastructure. Optional Skills: Proficiency in database administration within a MySQL environment. Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services). Familiarity with DevOps methodologies. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Demonstrated track record of success as a Network Administrator or in a similar capacity within a fast-paced environment, preferably within the e-commerce or related sectors. Profound understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. Strong grasp of network security principles and practices, encompassing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN technologies. Exceptional troubleshooting skills and the capability to dissect and resolve complex network issues efficiently. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, coupled with a knack for collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Possession of relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ is highly advantageous. Extensive senior-level experience in managing Linux network/server environments.
