Frances Vye Wilson's sculpture studio is looking for a metal fabricator to work closely with the artist to design and create stands for Wilson's torso sculptures from her "Gods and Warriors" and "Social Warriors: Call to Arms" series. The stand must be able to be taken apart for optimal shipping and must not be distracting from the artwork itself. Currently, the studio has t-shaped acrylic stands for the torsos, pictured in the attachments here. The main issue with this shape of stand is that it shows through the neck and that it can not be taken apart. Also attached is a rough sketch of an idea for the stand to be as minimal as possible, but this is just a first draft.
