Yiyaabc is a China-based tutoring company that teaches basic conversational English to Chinese students aged 4 to 12 years old. Our tutors hail from all over the world, making us a very global team. Our core system hinges on four main things – Passion, Care, Creativity and Collaboration. Our company’s mission is to foster our students' English communication skills across China using our customised curriculum design, enriching their personal development and propelling their aspirations for a passionate future anywhere in the world.
We are looking for more tutors to join our fun, diverse team. This isn’t your typical teaching job and we welcome individuals to unleash their happy, creative sides in order to boost the children’s English skills.
Here’s what we are looking for:
- Tutors who can work Mondays – Fridays, 5:00PM to 9:00PM China time zone (UTC+8)
- Native English speakers are preferred, although non-Native speakers can be considered as long as the level of English is impeccable
- North Americans who are based in Asia will be given top priority, mainly for time zone reasons
- Friendly and pleasing personality
- Ability to handle children; patience is a must
- Must be punctual and have a high sense of responsibility
- Reliable internet connection; all teaching sessions are done online so fast internet is a must
- Clear camera and headset
- Confident and clear verbal communication
- Can correct punctuation and grammar
- Applicants with TEFL or CELTA certificate is a HUGE bonus and will be prioritized
