We are a digital agency; but not in the traditional sense. We are extremely tech heavy. We play in the cloud. We only work with very large companies even though we're small. We write code - a lot of it - and really complex stuff.
We are exploring the possibility of outsourcing the social media management and content creation position within our agency instead of hiring someone. The networks we're looking to focus on are Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. In addition 2-3 blog posts per month would be ideal.
We're not looking for boilerplate. We're not looking for a content curator, as we think curation should account for only 20% of posts at most.
We are looking for someone who is always on top of trends. If you can't use Instagram stories in an innovative way or understand graphic organization on Twitter, this position is not for you. We want you to tell us why you'd stand out.
This is a big chance, but if we can find the right person, we think it might make sense rather than create an internal position for this.
What you must have before it makes sense for us to talk.
-An understanding of technology. If PHP, MySQL, Cloud, CMS, Nginx, or CDN are foreign, it won't work.
-Knowledge of trends in the marketplace (think Blockchain, augmented reality, and AI) and what it means to the world.
-Proven experience, with examples that will impress us.
-Have you done this for an agency in the past? If so, then we really should talk.
-Solid opinions about which social networks should be the focus these days in our space (we think Instagram should be the highest - but we like debate).
-Be located in the US or Canada, we won't entertain anything else.
Obviously, as a company we are B2B, but our clients (and therefore our prospects and audience) could be either B2B or B2C.
Time? We're not sure. We think this is an approximately 10-12 hour per week position, but are open to discussion.
You'll have to take some time with us on the phone. Get to know us and our personality. We think it is important that it comes through.
Still with us? Are we looking for someone that doesn't exist? Could be, we just don't know.
All work would be covered under a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
