I have a software conflict issue in my OS (Windows 10 x64). More precisely, an old version of Microsoft Visual C++ (x64) cannot be uninstalled properly, and so the new version (download-able from ) cannot be installed. I have an STL file for a battery box. It consists of a bottom and a top part, that are connected with a simple hinch. On the other side the box is being closed with a latch, see blue circle in image. The problem is that this latch is breaking off because it is not sturdy enough or the tolerances are just too tight so you have to apply too much force to open the box.
