Price calculator

Buttons I expected to show are not showing, undesired text boxes pop up, text alignment is messy, and all that kind of problems experienced by a beginner like me. Although most of the website is already there as structure, some things I just couldn't do myself. The website should not be very complex. It should be a human translation agency, that should have a calculator exactly like the one presented at [login to view URL], only without the fields Services and Subject. Although I wouldn't mind if the same model is used for my website. Clients should be able to login and order a translation for the text they will attach as filo or in a text box and send me through the website. They should select some box with the origin language, the desired final language, and describe the amount of words in their text. It should calculate the price of the translation according to the ammount of words that they ask to be translated. Then they should be redirected by virtuemart to pay with paypal. Of course it should all look nice and comprehensive. Everything else in the website is trivial, and I could add myself slowly as I get more used to Joomla. The website is written in portuguese, but the language adjustments are something I could easily do myself once every button and box is in their due place. HERE IS A PRECISE DESCRIPTION OF WHAT I REALLY NEED: At the menu >Traducoes>Solicitar uma traducao agora>, I have added 4 products from a virtuemart category. Although that would be an interesting method to sell physical products, this is not very efficient to sell translations services. What I need is some sort of price calculator, with: a box where you could choose the language of your text; another box to choose the language you want your text translated to, a field where you could type the amount of words to be translated, a field where you could attach the .doc or .pdf file to be translated, or just paste the text that needs translation. The file could be sent to the email or be stored on the website, it doesn't matter. Basically it should be the SAME KIND OF CALCULATOR USED AT [login to view URL] , only without the fields Services and Subject. I wouldn't mind if the same model is used for my website. After filling all fields, the client should be able to create a login to follow the status of his product, and get a redirect link to paypal. The calculation should work as follows: if the origin language is Portuguese and the final language is English, price is (Brazilian reais) R$0,17 per word; if the origin language is Portuguese and the final language is different than English and Portuguese, price is (Brazilian reais) R$0,24 per word; if the origin language is any language but Portuguese and the final language is Portuguese, price is (Brazilian reais) R$0,13 per word; Time calculation should be 1500 words/day +1 day.
