Have migrated entire infra from old ESXi 4.x virtual machine to new New ESXi 5.x servers including Vcenter for big MNC. Having expertise level knowledge.

I have experience in doing the migration of VM's from from one host to another. So definitely i can do this project in the stipulated time.

Your task is quite simple as long as no advanced configuration is required for networking etc. All you need to do is: Open vSphere Client Click VM Go to sumary page Right click the data store and select browse data store Power off VM Transfer entire file content from datastore to your desktop Then conect to new ESXi host and upload file to datastore. Once completed open VM file and right click .vmx file and click register VM Answer "I copied VM" when powered on and your done.

Hello I have done numerous Host migrations. How many VM's will need to be moved? From the description, this will be a fairly basic job. We would first add the new host to your vCenter (if you have one). Configure the new Host networking (port groups, etc) for the VM's. If you have vDS this process will be even quicker. If the VM's are required to maintain connectivity then we can vMotion them off the old host and onto the new one. I could easily get this project done, and allow you to focus on the next project on your plate. -Nathan

I was implented vmware in 3 different country's in my company. I'm also in charge for maintaining,updating,configuring and managing whole virtual environment which includes 3 different vcenters with a single SSO domain, 5 cluster with 20+ physical host and 300+ virtual machines. I was also migrate whole environment from vmware version 4 to version 5 and from version 5 to version 6.
