Outlook Macro - Request for Proposal

*We are looking for an Outlook Macro that changes email attributes based on other attributes and automatically saves attachments to a specific folder* **_*Company Background*_** SecTec is a small consulting company based in Austria with a core focus on security consulting. Increased amount of emails has highlighted the need for efficient and optimized internal processes. **_*Project Description *_** The project entails the development of a simple macro for Outlook that changes a a view of email attributes (e.g.: append text to subject) based on some other attributes (e.g. date). ## Deliverables **_*Design Requirements *_** * Developer to undertake the project should develop using the RVBA naming & coding standards ([login to view URL]). <!-- --> * Hand over documentation which includes set up instructions. **_*Technical*_** **_*and Infrastructure Requirements *_** Our infrastructure requires the macro to run in Outlook 2010 (32bit) on Windows 7 (64bit). _***Functional Requirements***_ * The macro only needs to be applied to incoming emails. <!-- --> * The macro needs to append the actual date (European format: ddmmyyyy) in front of the subject. E.g.: If the subject of an incoming email is **"Security Report"** it should be changed into **"22082012 - Security Report"**. Format should be from** "[subject]"** to** "[actual date] - [subject]".** <!-- --> * If the incoming email includes an attachment, this attachment should be automatically copied in a specific folder in the following format: **C****:\[path_to_attachments]\[email_of_sender]\[date]_[original_file]** E.g.: Email from user1@[login to view URL] with attachment [login to view URL] should be saved as ***C:\Customer\user1@[login to view URL]\[login to view URL]*** <!-- --> * The original attachment must remain within the email. <!-- --> * The macro only needs to be applied once to each email. E.g.: If it already has a subject with an appended date it should not be changed again. <!-- --> * The macro should be triggered by the "Outlook Rules Wizard" that allows you to "run a script" when you create a specific rule.
