Hello there, We have two seperate websites on Shopify for the same company. One of them is a NEW website that hasn't been launched yet, we are still developing it, but it is nearly ready... This NEW website is essentially a duplicate of our main website, it has been created to focus on the UK market, so it has a ".[login to view URL]" domain name. Our main website has the ".com" domain name and currently ranks well in the USA, the UK and some parts of Europe. In the future, we will focus our SEO efforts on the main website towards the USA market. We want to ensure correct canonical tags are in place to ensure we are not penalised by Google for duplicate content on either site. My primary goal is to protect the MAIN website from any possible penalties, or SEO damage that could occur from having a duplicate UK website. We also want to avoid any loss of rankings on our main website for anyone searching within the UK. We are pleased with the healthy trfraffic and good rankings we get for the main website, and we would like to keep it that way. I am familiar with general SEO practice, but need assistance with this... We have about 20 information pages with duplicate/ very similar content and we also have about 800 products that are identical. (Although, I have changed the SEO titles, meta tags and SEO descriptions on all the products manually, but they are still very similar.) We are looking for someone to help us with these duplicate websites to ensure they are set up properly. There is also a possible opening for more work managing the sites (SEO wise) in the future for the right person. Can you help us with this please? Thank you, Stuart
