Hi! I've programmed my own stream-based XML parser and an XML viewer that may be quite close to what you describe/request here (except it's in Java + Swing). As I try to improve formats tooling, your project might be a good fit? You don't need an XML editor, right? Do you just need such a solution, or do you want exclusive rights/code? Because if not, if the result can be libre-freely licensed (preferably GNU APLv3 + any later) because it's generally useful, I probably wouldn't mind to maintain it long-term, maybe extend. Do you have some file size requirements? Is it all small files or do you need something special for supporting any arbitrary length (which is more difficult to implement properly)? I'm starting with a low price, because it's a good project and likely not too challenging. Time estimate is somewhat longer, as I've programmed some Python, but not a massive amount.
