Timer PCB design

hi, I can build this for you using a microcontroller. can you be specific about 5V input mapping to 5V out put and 15V in to 15V out,meaning no boost involved? Please let me know what will you need the input and output terminals to be? Also by negative do you mean 0V or -5V? thank you

Hello, Its an easy job and a micro controller needs to be used for this purpose. The circuit will fit well within this area. It will use MOSFET H bridge to swap the polarity and the indication will be done to the proper LEDs as detailed. My bid includes, schematic design, PCB layout design in proper fashion and firmware development for the micro controller. Also assisting you till you flash the firmware and run the system at your end. I will use PIC micro controller and MOSFETs in SOT-23 package. Really easy job. VN5772 is an H-bridge controller that can be driven by a PIC. Need one per output channel. Need an input regulator and a PIC18. I assume the timer +/- a couple % is OK, else a crystal is needed. Can drive red/green LED per pair from the logic to the H bridge. Physically running then on 5-15V would be tricky but possible. Dimensions will be ok with double sided SMT or I can find a smaller H-bridge (this was a higher load power application). Basic FW (loosely tested, lacking HW) can be provided but PIC18 is easy. Alternately, if you do not want the timing to be variable by changing firmware, I can do this with hard logic.

Hi, I decided to bid on this project as I did almost same project before to control a latch solenoid valve with timer and polarity switch. The only different is my former project need to run daily. The solution for this project is simple: power supply is regulated to 3.3v for a tiny 8-bit Microchip PIC controller. The PIC is programmed to count the time and do all the tasks. Output polarity switch is performed using a H-bridge - in my previous project, I used L9110 but this IC only support up to 12V only (not 15V) then I will need to use another IC or build a custom H-bridge. I will deliver schematic, pcb, gerber files using Eagle and may use some SMD parts to make the PCB small. Source code of the PIC (in C) will be provided as well. You will need to purchase a PIC programmer on your side to program the PIC.

hello. Your task is better to complete micro controller with RTC and two relay. First relay is to make turn on/off operation second relay with 2 pairs of contacts for reversing polarity.
