The job entails: - Development of an online system such that the answers people give to some questions will result in two beautiful and tastefully designed PDf's being created. - Storage of responses (full data) To show me you know what I mean, please show me that you can do a simple example. Send me the link to your example in your proposal: Example to show me you can do it: 1. Set up these questions in an online system that looks amazing: I am impulsive and tend to buy things even when I can’t really afford them I am prepared to spend now and let the future take care of itself Financial services are complicated and confusing to me (People can respond on a scale of 1 (not at all) to 7 (completely) 2. Set up an automated system such that people's responses are tallied such that: Total scores from 3 to 9 = High SC Total scores from 10 to 15 = Medium SC Total scores from 15-21 = Low SC 3. Create a system such that the following nicely designed PDF's are created: PDF Report 1 (one of the below will appear in the report, depending on stage 1 above): - If High SC - "You have illustrated high self control. You might like to consider some of the evidence regarding self-control depletion over the day to schedule your difficult choices". - If Medium SC - "You have illustrated a medium level of self control. This means that sometimes you are able to control your decisions, and sometimes you give in to impulses. You might like to consider some of the situations when you have low self control in particular." - If Low SC - "You have illustrated low self control. This can have consequences for many aspects of your life, particularly your financial situation. It might be worthwhile to consider a habit you could bring in initially to monitor your spending to see if this is really important or not" PDF Report 2: (one of the below will appear in the report, depending on stage 1 above) High SC - "What does financial freedom mean to you?" Medium SC - "What are the financial habits you are most proud of?" Low SC - "Tell me about a time you had strong control over a purchase decision?" {End of Example for you to create} The above example is around 10% of the actual system I want you to develop. As such, by doing the above example you can show me how easily you can do the task, as well as some of your creative ideas for expressing the reports in a PROFESSIONAL (not just creative) manner. When you submit a proposal, please include: - Your example (link to a site where I can do it, live, and test it works) - The PDF outputs (2 PDF report outputs, as above) illustrating your professional creative ideas - If relevant, please send me a PDF design that you think would be appropriate for the above example, to illustrate your creative abilities when it comes to report design. This could be an example of a previous report you have developed using this system. - How much time it took you for the above example. Note: I will be hiring within the next 48 hours most likely, so please do the example and submit it for my perusal, if you are interested in this project. Second note: There will likely be on-going maintenance/adaptation of the system after we have developed it. So, if you do a good job, this work will continue in some form for potentially years.
