My website displays videos that are stored on S3. I want to create an in-browser "trim" tool that can edit these videos on demand, inside our media player (we use JW Player). This will likely require the use of JavaScript and CSS to create an overlay. One website already does this "trim" functionality at the moment: [login to view URL] It works very well, and the trim tool does exactly what I need. However, this website requires users to have the file on their computer, and then they have to upload it to the [login to view URL] server, which takes a very long time. It is therefore not very practical. Instead, I need an in-browser tool to be built that uses the already-downloaded video (i.e. sitting in the browser cache) as a source for the trimmed clip. Once the clip has been trimmed, the user should be able to save this trimmed clip to their profile on our website (or to their desktop).
