Hello, I have a great deal of experience in both VB6 and .NET. The majority of my .NET code is VB.NET, although I also do C#. Is the entire application written in VB6? Please provide more information about the code. If I am provided with complete source code and project files, I am sure I can re-work the VB6 driver to run on Windows 2008. Depending on how the whole project is structured, I would either simply update the VB6 code or convert it to .NET. If you want the entire project converted, that would be additional work and more hours. I have written and maintained many VB6 programs, and have even coded VB6 programs to call .NET modules. I have also done some low level program in C++, including a program that communicates with military radios via a serial port connection. I have all the tools and software here to work on your project and test the driver's ability to work in Windows 2008, Windows 7, and Windows 2012 (and really just about any other Windows version) Please contact me if you wish to hire my company for the job.
