I need a script that will get video files from the information provided in an excel sheet and crop the last 5 minutes of that video. The video files are within subfolders contained from the parent folder.
Here is the format of how the file name will be in the excel file : "1/30/2016 8:00"
here is the format of how the file name will be in the folder: "[login to view URL]"
What you need to do is this:
1) For each file name in the excel file, go through the folder.
2) Look for a video file that matches the same date
3) Once you find a file name that matches the same date, look for the time slot with the nearest recording time. For example, if you are looking for "1/30/2016 8:00", and there are 3 video files that look like the following:
"[login to view URL]"
"[login to view URL]"
"[login to view URL]"
then select the nearest time slot "[login to view URL]". Once you select this video file, crop the last 5 minutes of the video.
7:55 to 8:00. and store the 5-minute video on a separate folder.
