PHP Error Log Files Expert - So We can view PHP errors on Shared server - URGENT

Hello We have a drupal site and we get many errors when we do a backup. We host on 1 and 1 shared server and we installed Drupal manually so we have no access to php erro log files. We need an expert that can guide us - we think there is a solution to add a line to our [login to view URL] file so we can see error log file under our root but we are not sure see this [login to view URL] Can you help? All we need its to see our PHP error log files and we are on a shared server $20-$30 for 10 grade. ASAP Thanks!
