In addition, there are a few features and functionalities that I consider crucial for the platform: - Supplier Directory: This directory must enable suppliers to create profiles and customers to easily find and connect with them. - Order Management System: The platform should have an efficient system for managing orders. This should include order tracking, inventory management, and a clear order history. - Communication Tools: A robust set of communication tools must be integrated into the platform. This should allow seamless communication between suppliers and customers. - Live Product Catalog: The platform will also require a live product catalog feature. This feature should provide real-time information on available products, pricing, etc. In addition to these features, the procurement process on this platform will support direct purchasing. This means there will be no need for bidding or negotiation. The platform will operate on a direct purchase basis. However, the platform will also have a unique feature of a reverse auction. This feature will allow suppliers to bid on customer orders. This will be a valuable tool for both customers and suppliers, making the platform more competitive and dynamic.
