We need someone who can tweak wordpress and a template, to make a wordpress installation into a blog portal. Users must be able to enter the urls of their blogs and our portal must list them according to categories, top blogs/posts, etc. Admin must be able to have control over submitted blogs, must have email verification while submission and users must be able to edit their submission later. The new admin screens must be the part of the wordpress dashboard. There are a total of around six pages including admin screens, to be developed. Programmer must know how to handle rss feeds, must have experience in wordpress plugin/template development, and experience with unicode and indic scripts is a plus.
