RSS PopUp Reader

We would like an **RSS reader** that stays minimized as an icon in the Windows system tray until a new RSS story is detected. When a new story is downloaded, it will popup a window with the new story in it. The software should be written in **Visual Basic 6 (VB6). Would also consider that it be written in Delphi (win32, not .NET).** It should also have the following features: * It should allow entry and monitoring of multiple RSS feeds. In other words, the user can enter the URL's of as many RSS feeds as they want to monitor. They should be able to view a list of these feeds and add & delete feeds. * The user should be able to set the frequency that each URL is checked for new stories. This may be a different frequency for each URL. * When a window pops up to indicate a new story has arrived, it should show the name of the feed that it came from. It should offer "delete" or "save". If the user chooses save, the story should go into a list of saved stories which can be reviewed later. The user should be able to delete stories from the saved list. * The popup window that shows the new story should be in rich text format with all associated graphics, links, etc. from the feed. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows XP, Windows 2000 with VB6 runtime. Would also consider that the software be written in Delphi (win32, not .NET).
