Quick Magento changes

I got a template that needs some quick work. Should be fairly easy if you're good with magento. Must be done in 1 day. Task as follows: 1) make css changes on home page such as spacing, text changes, and removal of copyright text. 2) Change the number of product displayed in the Featured products area. I may ask you to resize the product display on this. 3) Install and make live chat module to work. Currently, it has a access denied issue after it's installed. I will need this to be placed on the header as well. The module is a free module and supports my version of magento. I suspect it's just folder permission related issues. Hired coder must be available during my hours as I this done in one day as these changes should be quick to do.
