Scope Critical priorities: . • Better user interface to include such things as tabbing, accessibility, multi-level drop down, search features and easy navigation • A new content management system with easy user update capability • A process to keep the data in a clean usable format, and pass information directly to Raiser’s Edge database and ideally the ETO database • Data security measures in place to protect the organizations’ information • The solution will support access from many different devices and be easily viewable on traditional computers and mobile computing solutions such as phones and tablets. • The look and feel of the website needs to be visually pleasing and include good brand messaging for the organization. • Creation of a streamlined donation process that is easy for users. • Creation of an event registration site for related events, Holiday parties and Fundraising events such as walks, or seated dinners • Creation of an integrated calendar of events, which is easily viewable and searchable • Creation of a photo gallery which is viewable and searchable • Social networking integration needs to be built in for the organizations’ social media content feeds, (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, RSS Feeds) and embedding of video and audio clips. • Set up analytics for all pages • Code should comply with existing web standards, as well as such future standards that can reasonably be foreseen The developer will: • Prepare a project schedule • Present 2-3 design concepts for the web site • Provide 2-3 rounds of revisions to the selected direction • Perform usability testing with the team before final design • Provide a website which is easy to use by the general public and addresses the goals for each constituent time • Post 2-5 coded pages including the home page, prior to complete development, to a staging area for review by client team; • Provide ongoing consultation during the review period • Refine code based on feedback from initial review; • Deliver final site files (PSD original file, sliced file, coded page templates and all header, footer, navigation and background art); • Provide a style guide with instructions for updating and maintaining the site. • Work with staff to determine the most efficient and reliable hosting platform for the site, including (where appropriate) a staging area for new content. The developer will need to work with us to acquire adequate hosting. • Train staff in the deployment, maintenance, and upkeep of the new site Written proposal Proposals must include: 1.
