Windows Mobile Barcoding Application

We have an existing C# Mobile Application that needs to be cloned to an other application which is technical very similar. The application works with SQlite database, connects with a host to transfer order data in and out, does some data entry (by barcode scanning, technically simulated as keyboard, so no problem for the app). The application must work language-independend, means all constants, messages etc. must come from a table, rather then hardcoded in the pgm. Existing application is done with VS2005 which i prefer here too. VS2008 is not acceptable because of environment reasons. So the task is mostly: learn how the existing app is working, learn what the new workflow means. Probalbly do some improvements on certain technical things.
