Overview: We are a company that builds websites for the funeral industry. We are looking to expand our "look and feel" into some new designs which provide a unique look for our customers, but accommodate our standard tools. We are searching for a designer to provide a look that says WOW but still incorporates our backend coding. The design must allow for a range of text blocks and graphics sizes to be specified to the successful bidder. The designer will need to be sensitive to the industry needs and the individual funeral home. Very minimal Flash as accent okay otherwise very simple to access webpage. It is a big deal to end users if they cannot access an obituary versus not being to see their latest music favorites online. ## Deliverables Requirements: 1. Provide a front page and an interior page template plus a top navigation bar (for the pages where our software tools take up too much of the page) for use on a funeral home website. The graphic sizes and specs will be given once the job has been accepted. 3. The design must be contusive to being split into a start_page function and an end_page function with individual page content added as includes. 3. The template design must be flexible to fit a variety of text blocks (generally 2-6 paragraphs) and different tool modules. Examples provided upon request. 4. Meet tight deadlines. 5. Has to be clean code no WYSIWIG software tags. At least HTML 4.0 compliant 6. Use of CSS for styling and to change the appearance of standard tags where appropriate. No font tags. 7. Javascript permissible for nav rollovers, but text/CSS preferable. Text nav elements where preferable to graphics where possible. 8. The pages should render correctly in all major browsers (Netscape 4.7 and up, Mozilla all versions, Opera 4 and up, Internet Explorer 5.5 and up.) 9. The design should be viewable at 800 x 600 resolution without horizontal scrolling. Delieverables: 1) Complete PSD for the main site entry (index page) layout. 2) Complete PSD for the interior template layout and the top nav layout. 3) All non-standard fonts used in the PSD. 4) Complete HTML code and all associated files (CSS, graphics files) for the index page, the template page and the top nav. 6) The pages should render correctly in all major browsers (Netscape 4.7 and up, Mozilla all versions, Opera 4 and up, Internet Explorer 5.5 and up.) 7) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 8) We will receive complete and exclusive rights to the template you create. You cannot use it elsewhere or sell it to a different buyer. ## Platform The pages should render correctly in all major browsers (Netscape 4.7 and up, Mozilla all versions, Opera 4 and up, Internet Explorer 5.5 and up.
