This is an URGENT project. Time is of the essence. This is a request for a rebid of project number 15276. The reason for the request for a rebid is that the previously accepted bid escalated to the point where the bidder wanted over $29,000! The original request was for a complete clone of One Model Place. The project request stated that the One Model Place web site is the specification for the features required. This is the SAME request again. The bid requested is for a COMPLETE clone of One Model Place. Please note that One Model Place includes private messaging, email, forums and video streaming for the portfolios. It supports 18 different member types. All of this is on the joining page of One Model Place and is thus VERY clear. It has comprehensive search facilities and it supports casting calls. You MUST look at the web site and understand what needs to be delivered. We do not want to have to argue what is in One Model Place and what is not. If you do not support all of the facilities of One Model Place in your bid your bid will NOT be entertained and will NOT be accepted. The following is ADDITIONAL information. We expect there to be an additional cost to implement the following: There are 18 member types in One Model Place. We will break these member types in to seven separate groups. For example, models, actors, dancers, etc. Each member group will have their own entry page and each member group will have their own URL (and associated entry IP address). There will, however, only be ONE web site underneath, ONE email capability, ONE forum capability and ONE database. To be absolutely clear:- this is ONE web site with seven "virtual" doorways. We expect one design for the total web site with variants for the appropriate pages for each of the seven groups to personalise the user experience. We have, for example, exactly the same logo for all groups across the entire web site but each logo is a different colour for each group. We are NOT looking to convert a One Model Place clone in to seven separate web sites. If you bid for seven separate web sites your bid will NOT be entertained and NOT accepted as this is NOT what is being asked for. If you are not clear then ask for clarification via PM BEFORE bidding. The following is ADDITIONAL information. We expect there to be a reduction in cost to implement the following as we already have licenses for product and technology that will deliver some of the significant capabilities that One Model Place has. For email we already have a full license for an ISP standard web-based email system similar to hotmail complete with spam and virus protection. This will be integrated. It will NOT be necessary for the bidder to develop or build a web email system to match the one in One Model Place. For video streaming we already have a full license for Macromedia Flash Communication Server and licenses for flash video clients along with a license for server-based video conversion to flash video. We expect the availability of these products to reduce the cost and implementation time for the project. This is an URGENT project. We must have a pre-launch version of the web site live by mid August. We will send the winning bidder a full specification. Please be very clear on your bid what you will deliver and for what price and in what timescale. We have wasted two months with a previous bidder. We cannot waste any further time.
