More visibility for my web site on Google,Altavista etc.

Hi, I have personal project web site and I would like to have more visitors on it. I think best way is to increase visibility on Google Altavista etc. search machines... If I make an search with google my website doesn't show on first page and all search words which I want doesn't give results to my webpage. I am looking www coder who can modify my webpage (done with front page) and other things to get better visibility for my page. Payment to coder I make when I can see results when using for an example Google.
