This project is for the installation and configuration of both NAGIOS and MRTG on one server to monitor all of our network resources. Everything will need to be detailed on how you went about installing and configuring both NAGIOS and MRTG. We expect to have everything listed included the various ssh commands used to do so. This log is very important as we want to learn how to install this ourself in the future. Also we will need a walk-thru once the scripts are up and running properly on all of the functions from how to setup nagios to sms if a server goes down to adding new mrtg graphs for servers and switches which are added to the network.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
You will have access to a blank server running CENTOS 3.5 and the ability to install anything required to get this system up and running effectively. I will have a few questions on the envrionment you suggest once we start. We expect documentation of all installation commands used in SSH from step 1 to the final step and anything else that would need to be detailed if we were to follow this in the future for installation. We also expect a walk-thru on the different features and a question / answering session.
