We have a site we built that need an application developed that will integrate with our website and database. i think .net would be best but can be done in java as well... We need the app to 1. "checkin" with server on a predefined amount of time (set by user) and if it doesnt our website will notify the client that their server/cloud/website/desktop is offline. This app need to be able to be installed on Multiple machines and each installation get a unique ID, so if a client has multiple machines behind a single IP the system can detect which computer is offline 2. update our system with public IP of the client machine so our server can target the IP to perform predefined services (once we hire you will explain more) 3. If possible to see which which windows updates are not installed and if the anti virus needs updating 4. GeoTrack the machine so so one can see where his machine is as well as a boss can see where his employee is and and to stamp in the database everytime the machine gets internet access and the IP it came from and time on-offline time 5. Remotely lock machine/change password/shutdown if machine is being used without permission from our control panel on our site 6. Obviously - the app need to be able to be able to logon to our server securely 7. Be able to send a little message to the java app - like Update available - or please check site for important info etc 8. record website & Application use (time & Date visited) and report back to our system to generate in report provided to client 9. Full feature for windows (above) and we need for linux and mac just ability to update our system with IP and ID of client computer for penetration testing and downtime logging
