This small project is 1-2 day's work for a Joomla & PHP expert. I have a custom Joomla component which displays data from a MySQL database. It also has a front-end form which uses a JQuery javascript class to effect an AJAX auto-suggest feature. The component was working fine on Joomla 1.5 but I have just upgraded my site to Joomla 2.5 and now the component no longer works. The original developers are not available so I need someone to make the necessary adjustments in the component to make it work in my Joomla 2.5 installation. I don't believe that major changes are required to the component but I need someone with extensive experience in building Joomla components just in case the job is more complex than I thought. I also have another (much bigger) similar job to advertise after this has been completed, and the winning bidder for this small job would be my first choice for that job if they did a good job this time.
