Develop Joomla Component to Integrate with Teamwork PM's API

We are new to Teamwork but have been working with a combination of Atlassian’s Jira [login to view URL] & Activity Timeline [login to view URL] . We use Activity Timeline because it allows us to easily reallocate tasks to Jira users, extend tasks based on their start and due dates and also see each user’s workload as a percentage and hour value. What we are wanting to do is to tap into Teamwork PM’s API using Json to pull out the same data that Activity Timeline pulls out for Jira to create our own Joomla Component that has similar functions as Activity Timeline and even add some more. This development is to overcome Teamwork PM’s lack of workload & capacity management and will be used internally only by our company. Further details on the exact data we wish to pull out and how it will be used will be supplied to candidates we see fit for the job so please provide relevant experience where you can. I am not looking for a long list of joomla websites you have created, I am looking for proof that you can develop components for Joomla or have experience with developing extensions on MVC frameworks. Even just an explanation of a component or extension that you have created for another website will suffice. Happy bidding :)
