Require alteration to discussion forum ( version 1.6 downloadable from [login to view URL] ) using php. Require one additional field to be added to relevant table, field to be called 'closingdate'. Require one additional table to hold specific forum id's or another field in existing table to identify forum id's that are to have closing date. When [login to view URL] is accessed by surfer to post a new thread (via domain dot com [login to view URL] where x is one of specific forum id's (fid) in the new table then prompt for 'closingdate' in format DD-Mmm-YYYY ONLY for those specific forum id's in the new table and when Post New Topic button used to submit thread, update relevant tables. closingdate field is not compulsory for users to fill in. Create a new report called [login to view URL] that lists all threads (with or without closing date) that are within the new table listing the specific forum id's and list by closing date - ascending order from nearest to now date to furtherest date. Notes - templates to be altered accordingly: - the topic thread subject is to have the closing date at the end of the subject line eg: this is an example topic. Closing date 30-Nov-2002 - the THREAD when viewed or edited to show the closing date so as to allow editing the closing date (as per existing security for allowing editing) The thread/post is NOT to be set to closed when past the 'closing date'. It would be great to include the functionality to 'move' threads past 'closing date' to another forum area such as one called 'Expired Threads' (change specific forum thread/post ids to another id) All usual functionality (delete thread etc.) should still be possible. To ensure both parties are covered (access to source code and payment), make changes on your forum for testing and quality assurance purposes to ensure project completion, delivery and payment. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request and/or full documentation on manual install process. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform Linux
