Membership Account Management for Project Database

This programming project is for our growing business and will most likely begin a relationship with the programmer well into the future as we grow our online identity through custom web based applications that will assist our customers in starting their residential or commercial projects. To avoid mentioning the product I will simply refer to the project by code name SSE. SSE will consist of two front-end interfaces and one backend interface, each will be developed as separate application sharing the same database. The interfaces are for account management, search and system administration. SSE will offer any public internet user with a W3C compliant web browser the ability to access our web site and search for a contractor for their up and coming project. In order for them to obtain a list of referrals that will best fit their project, they will need to supply additional project information. When all of the required input is complete and submitted, a results page will be produced with a listing of each qualified service provider by company name, location, distance, type of service and links to a company profile. Contractors require membership and will be charged each time a public internet user views their on-line company profile. The main deliverable for this phase of the project is the First front-end interface. This will be the interface used by our contractors to sign up and maintain their on-line membership accounts. This interface will require the development of three modules that may be used by future applications as common components. The supporting database structures and an interface prototype have already been created it will be up to the developers discretion to use the prototype as a baseline or a design guide. For now, I think this is a pretty good start. (See Attached Word Doc) ## Deliverables Rent A Coder requirements notice: As originally posted, this bid request does not have complete details. Should a dispute arise and this project go into arbitration "as is", the contract's vagueness might cause it to be interpreted against you, even though you were acting in good-faith. So for your protection, if you are interested in this project, please work-out and document the requirements onsite. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform * All programs must be written to work under PHP 5.04 and Apache 2.0.54 (Fedora). * MySQL 4.1.14 will be used as the data store for all three interfaces. * Smarty 2.6.11 will be used as the application template engine.
