OutLook Add-In

Develop a COM Add-In for OutLook that would be registered two menu options under the Actions menu and as a toolbar panel. These two menu options would be: Copy E-mail To AIM Open Related File When selected, the COM object would send a Windows Message as follows: For the Copy E-Mail function, the COM Add-In would scan the subject line of the current highlighted/active e-mail message. If the character string of “ [SYS*REF# “ is detected, parse out all the characters after the [SYS*REF# and until a “ ] “ delimiter is encountered. The characters parsed out of the subject line would be made a part of the Windows Message Class. If no characters are found, the message class would not pass a string but the message would still be invoked The Open Related File function is similar to the function above, but if no string value is parsed out, then the user would receive a message prompt of “This e-mail does not appear to be related to an active file.??, and no windows message would be sent. For testing purposes, a test application would have to be built also. This application would be a simple form with a Memo field on it that indicates the receipt of the Message Class, and the string value passed in. It would just respond to the COM Add-In for testing only and need not have any additional functionality. Use of third-party components for parts of this project is permitted, as long as the intended use of the component is disclosed in your bid. For instance creation of the COM Add-In could be done in the Add-In Express component library. Use of this library is not required. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform Win32
