**** UPDATE ***** There is also another open source project which would satisfy the requirements if someone could get it to work in VISTA: [login to view URL] ***************** There is an open source project on SourceForge called FOLDERSIZE. Here is the description taken from [login to view URL] "Folder Size for Windows adds a new column to the Details view in Windows Explorer. The new column shows not only the size of files, but also the size of folders. It keeps track of which folders you view, and scans them in the background so you can see complete size of all files within the folder. It's very useful for cleaning up your disk. Once you get used to having that information available, a directory listing simply looks incomplete without it!" The author was correct; once you get used to having it, you can't live without it. Unfortunately, the shell integration doesn't work in Windows Vista. This project may be simple for the accomplished shell coder. The requirement is that the project must install and run in Windows Vista (32) and behave as it does in XP.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables) 3) This project source is licensed under GPL and all works created by the coder will be posted on [login to view URL]
## Platform
Windows Vista
