Remove display of one category in main page

I have a operational oscommerce site. I am going to be selling Adult dvds on line.I already have regular dvds listed. Adult is going to be a separate category. When I add a new category/product in Oscommerce it automatically displays it in main home page under new releases. I do not want the adult dvds to show on main page. All rest of movies are fine. I have installed a disclaimer before a person enters adult section. Can this be achieved and if it can, how soon can it be done. Please PM me and I will send you site address
