"smart consensus" prediction using neural network

im looking to set up a neural network to predict outcome of sports events using public consensus, line movements, odds movements, records and a whole bunch of other factors.. im no specialist in the field so i would like to discuss with someone that are known with neural network.. the job is just a teaching lesson for me to understand the neural network bether.. we will use msn messenger to discuss a possible project.. thanks
