Hi! I believe i found the equation for this math problem. In my solution, the *only* assumption is that having a share is as important as putting in work. This means that in the case where A has 100% of the share but did 0% of the work, then he or she gets 50% of the profit X. Similarly B has 0% of the share and he or she put in 100% of the work, therefore he/she also gets 50% of the profit! Hence both parties brought in something to the table and left with some profit!
