One thing, I would like to highlight here is that, it is more sort of a mixing of business strategy, business plan and marketing plan. Ideally, you should chew one by one. As you have fixed on the business strategy, the you would move to perform the market research for potential area of growth, then you would go on creating a business plan (inclusive of marketing plan/budget) covering the financial layout required. Honestly, you should hire consultants to fix on your strategy first as hardware networking business is very different from software services business. I can help on this items one by one rather than just giving you some half baked research from different sources. Please note that I don't have access to multiple database, will try to bring as much as possible quality content.
