Use the Angry Birds AI Competition (see [login to view URL]) basic game playing software (version 1.3, [login to view URL]) and develop an automated game-playing agent that runs on it. The only strict requirement for the agent is that it must incorporate a Bayesian learning component. The nature of this learning component is not prescribed, it might be supervised or unsupervised learning, it might be a component that was trained off-line or one that is continuously learning (the latter being preferable, though). It is recommended to start from the naive agent supplied in the basic game playing software. The Weka software framework should be used for the learning component. Also an essay (1500 words or Under) that describes the software development phase. The essay should contain: (i) rationales for decisions on algorithms, (ii) rationales for the use and choice of third-party software, (iii)a description of and justification for software design, (iv) a documentation of the training of the learning component (v) documentation of the testing of the agent.

Hi, Please find below my short experience summary. * Several years experience developing Statistical Data Analytics, Data Mining, Text Mining, Machine Learning, Knowledge Discovery using Weka and R for building classification and predictive models on Big Data developing Bayesian classifier and predictive models using SVM, Decision trees and Neural Networks for IMDB movie database, product classification, clustering algorithms(K-means, SVD) for categorization and segmentation and citation analysis ( HMM / markov-model ) * Have independently completed the projects undertaken before in developing Machine Learning, Data Mining, Analytics, Trend Analysis, Reporting, Dashboard and Statistical Tools and Software. * Extensive experience using Perl, PHP, C, Java, .NET with MySql, Oracle, MS-SQL Server * Data Mining Machine Learning Tools : Weka, R, Yale, RapiMiner, Excel, SVM-light. Estimated Budget : ~ 450 GBP ( Timeline : 10-12 days ) Price, milestones and timelines flexible and negotiable based on exact project specifications and details or for any additional project work. For a supervised learning, is there enough good training data upon which a bayesian model can be built ? [ For an unsupervised learning which probably will be the case incase of no training data may have to use some kind of clustering before a bayesian model can be built for generating the game-rules ]
