Android Advertising SDK

This project is about building an Android advertising SDK similar to for instance to Admob Android SDK. The scope of the SDK is : - Build a request to the ad server (http request) - Parse the request to build a banner - Supported banner are png, jpeg, gif and animated gif - Handle to event of the banner (open an URL). Note that when application using the sdk is quitted OR is in a screen where the no advertising is involved, the sdk must not query the server. - The ad server can send a reply that no ad is available, in that case banner zone is empty and main screen can take this part of the screen. Deliverable : - Source code of the SDK - Jar of the SDK - Developer guide for integrating the SDK to an Android app. - Sample integration in a sample project. As sample project the developer can choose any working open source rss reader. We may just ask to customize it for reading one feed of our choice. For this project : - IMPORTANT FOR YOUR ESTIMATIONS : I will give to the selected coder a previous version of the SDK (code+documentation) for inspiration and reuse of code. Current sdk is doing all the job except the animated gif and a majour bug due to the use of a service (when closing the app the ad server is still queried even the application is quitted. - It's good to inspire from Admob SDK in terms of simplicity of integration and documentation - It's more realistic that the coder who bids for this project has already done an integration of an advertising SDK. Otherwise, this job will be hard to understand.
