I restored my magento website to a known working date of oct 7, 2015. the site has 2000 products and more than 50,000 images. After restoring the site the images do not show up, only a place holder is showing up. The host already said they have done all they can but that they are not developers so I need to connect with a developer myself. I have an extension called 'extendware' which does something to the site such as optimize photos etc.
I'm only looking for a super pro with lots and lots of feedback, I won't respond to anyone who doesnt have excellent reviews. I also need someone who can work on it right now.
Below is what my host said:
I've managed to resolve the search bar problem. I've also tested multiple pages and features in your website and everything appears to be working properly.
The problem was most likely caused by a files and database mismatch as the files were restored from October 7th while the database is up to date. During these 10 days there may have been changes to the website whether in the files or database which caused the mismatch and as such problems with the search bar.
To resolve the problem, I reverted the files back to the one we restored from October 15th (along with the media catalog from October 10th so all images are there in the files). Reverting the files back resolve the problem which confirms my theory above. There's also no need to use the files from October 7th as it doesn't resolve the image problems.
Anyway in your Home directory you will now see two directories with your website files, "public_html" which is currently being used and Very Important (do not delete it) and "[login to view URL]" which is the files from October 7th (you can remove this if it's not needed).
The problem with the images will require a detailed check by a web developer as it seem to be caused by the Extendware extension which manipulates and optimizes images. We tried multiple solutions to resolve the problem but unfortunately none of it worked (our skills on coding is limited so we didn't go through the codes) so you will most likely need a web developer to look into this non-standard behavior resulting from an extension.
Thank you.

Hi sir, I have more experience about Extendware extension. Did you clear cache of Extendware? Your hosting said about search bar problem, what is this? I need SSH to check the image and magento admin to check the image in database. Get Started!
