My company in the Solomon Islands has a client which requires consulting and training in GIS. We are currently looking for someone to come over to evaluate the needs of our client for a couple of days, with a longer trip over afterwards to carry out work. The scope of work includes data migration from MAP INFO to QGIS, and associated staff training in QGIS for the 5-6 members of their GIS team. Is this something you can assist with? We can organise all transport and accommodation.

Hi, I'm a GIS developer doing both development and consulting work. I have numerous municipal, national and international projects as well using QGIS, data migration and related data analysis. I have a couple of questions: What is the purpose of the project? Topography? Cadastre? Other? What kind of data you would like to migrate? What is the background of staff to train? Am I correct understanding that you require 2 time site visit? My daily rate is $240 anyways including travel days so you can calculate with that.
