Hello!
We are a technology company that is exploring a microservices-based architecture using Go for our projects. We currently use React.js to build a Material design inspired front-end that currently uses a JSON-RPC backend.
The purpose of this prototype is to create a services that perform some of the following functions:
HTTP/REST service API for CRUD operations against various collections
Mock persistence layer
Persistence layer with JSON-RPC based backend
ElasticSearch query service layer
We will use the following technology stack:
Micro microservices library ([login to view URL]) for Go
NATS for data transport, service discovery, and broker
ElasticSearch
Checkout the articles on the blog for the Micro library ([login to view URL]) for more information about the architecture and principles. We can also provide you with additional details or answer any questions you may have on all of the above.
What We Hope to Accomplish
This project is a short-term preliminary experiment that we hope to extend into a long term relationship with one or more developers as part of a distributed team. We really need to see if a microservices architecture (specifically the Micro framework for Go) will help increase our effectiveness and efficiency to work as a distributed team working on separate, but integrated parts of a system.
If this approach works, we may adapt it for several projects we are working on, and would hope to have you part of our team!
Hi, I have three years of development experience in Golang and Java. Currently working in micro services based distributed architecture system and providing services to the financial domain.
