VBA scheduling macros for Ms Project 2010 to update dates from excel file

The VBA code should reside in MS Project. There should be a separate tab in MS Project with 2 menu items 1. Extract data to excel file 2. Update MS Project file from Excel FIle [login to view URL] data to excel file >>Extract Resource wise tasks to multiple excel files and save on a folder with file names having resource name and date time stamped. This excel Extract will have task details from Ms project , the excel file will have Unique ID, Resource Name, Task Name, Start Date,Finish Date & Percentage Complete. The User will change the start date, finish date or percentage complete on the excel file and save it. [login to view URL] MS Project file from Excel FIle >>On Ms Project(MSP) when user clicks update data option ,There should be a open dialog box to select the updated excelfile and once selected ; a) read data from the excel file and locate the correct task row on ms project based on the Unique ID field on the excelfile b) Once Located, if excel file finish date > MSP finish date, then increase the MSP duration field to match the finish date. ** Also needs to validate if the date falls on a holiday based on the MS Project Calender then change the date to the next following work day. If excel file Start date > MSP start date and excel Percentage complete>0 then update the start date without putting any constraints ( update the actual start date) While updating any dates , it should not put any constraints other tham ASAP to the task and should be auto scheduled with "as soon as possible constraint" If [login to view URL] complete <> MSP percentage complete the update MSP file as per excel file. ** Also before the update process starts need to validate and check whether the excel file is a valid file and show the no of records to be update While updating the data if there is an error or invalid data need to show error details to the user.
