Hi, just for fun: A Low Earth Orbit crosses the sky and cannot be deployed over a stadium for 6 hours. You would need a swarm of mirrors, where one out of some tens take the place. Is it possible to put it geostacionary? yes, but the cost is high. I understand that for marketing it is of some use non practical things, like blimps, or flying signs, but the concept of LEO´s replacing luminaries is a little far away. For your reference: Russians did some time ago a mirror in space for illuminating a disc in the siberian steppe, look for that. Best regards
