He has drafted more than 350 US patent applications (for clients other than Elance) and successfully completed more than 500 Patent searches till date. He has strong experience in the Hi-tech and electronics domain. Although, he is registered to practice before Indian Bar council and Indian Patent office, he got trained by US Patent attorney and Franklin school of Law (ten years back). This strong experience helps him to manage projects worldwide effectively. Your first and immediate step will be to check whether your idea is patentable or not. Drafting, Infringement & Licensing are the subsequent steps to be done. DO NOT disclose the idea to anyone until you file the draft. May be you can have a non disclosure agreement signed with someone you are going to hire for. Some of my granted patents (or published applications) before USPTO are: 1. US7885999 2. US20100069186 3. US20100078885 4. US20100272498 5. US20100309489 6. US20110202617 7. US20120005169 8. US20120030228 and 9. US20120036137. Please let me know if you would like to have a telecon/skype (Raghavanplus) to begin the project. Thanks.

Hi there, My name is Paul and I am from New Zealand and would be keen to assist you with writing your patent application. I am a registered NZ and Australian patent attorney and have experience with drafting and prosecuting patents worldwide (including NZ, Australia, UK, EP, and the US). My firm’s website is www.remarkableip.nz. In regards to the process I would draft a patent application and then file it in NZ and pay for the filing fees. The patent would be examined in a few months and this would give us a good indication of whether the invention is patentable. If it is then you would have 12 months to decide whether to file a international patent application (costs around $3000-$5000 depending on which search authority you use). An international application doesn't give you a patent in each country but would give you a further 18 months for most countries before you had to file country by country applications it is a way to put off the deadline for filing country by country applications. If you are making good sales by that time then you may choose to push forward. The international application procedure also includes an international search and examination step which provides you with further information as to whether it is worth eventually investing in applications at the country by country stage. If I can be of any assistance or if you have any questions please let me know. In the meantime please remember to keep your invention confidential. Kind regards Paul
