A not-for-profit start-up based in Cardiff, UK are looking for a web application developer to work on an exciting new project developing an online service for the charity events sector. The successful candidate will be expected to have knowledge of some or all of the following: * HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript * RESTful web services * Modern semantic markup and responsive design In addition to this, experience of the following is a must: * Web application development with object-oriented MVC frameworks (e.g. Ruby on Rails, ASP.NET, Zend) * Experience of the full software development life-cycle (everything from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance) This is an exciting opportunity to build something from scratch, and would suit someone who has been working with these technologies for a number of years. It would be beneficial if you can demonstrate previous work with an online portfolio or URLs to projects that you have been involved in. Please find a brief attached. At this stage we’re looking to get quotes for the development of the application from any interested parties, so please get in touch for more information.
