Action Sports ebook (how to make it your career)

This is a writing project that involves writing a book containing case studies on how to make a full-time living in the action sports industry. The main body of the book is made up of case studies of people who are 'living the dream' and earning a full time income in their chosen sport(s). I would expect 4-7 case studies in each of the following sports - skateboarding, BMX, snowboarding, surfing, and FMX (freestyle motocross) as well as case studies in other action sports such as inline skating, wakeboarding, free-fall/skydiving sports, drifting, rockclimbing etc. 50% of case studies will be for professional athletes (e.g. professional skateboarders) while the rest of the case studies will be for people earning a full time living through other means (e.g. skate shop owner, graphic designer, videographer, blogger, ecommerce site owner etc). There would be a minimum of 30 case studies in total, however in any given sport, 1 must be on a professional athlete and the other for someone who is earning a full time income via other means. I will give you a list of questions I would like covered for each case study. You will need to find and possibly interview and ask some of them the specific questions. I imagine that each case study will average at least 1,500 words and include a bullet-point conclusion at the end of each case study with advice the reader can take away and apply to his/her own life. With a bit if digging you'll find lots of information available around the Internet that can be pulled together. You'll also find contact details for people who would make ideal case studies. Please ensure that in using content from other websites that you are not simply copying and pasting. Please do not infringe copyright. The writing style should be conversational and engaging. It needs to be easy to read and inspirational, as it will be used by people who are contemplating this kind of career. I would like the book written in MS Word using Arial 12 point. I'll take care of edits and proof reading. There are many more of these types of projects on the horizon. ## Deliverables I would expect each case study to be submitted one-by-one and for the first few (e.g. 5) I would like to provide feedback before you proceed to the next case study. I would also like confirmation of who you are going to write the case study about before proceeding as I have already prepared several case studies myself.
