I'm a specialist in a computer vision field. My area of interest are mainly human detection and tracking algorithms. I've implemented my own detection system(which was written using EmguCV, for my PhD thesis). Generally speaking, system was using modified histogram of oriented gradients algorithm for detection, particle filters and extended Kalman filter for tracking. The algorithm was well optimized and had very good results - low miss rate with a pretty good performance(as for a non-commercial product). I've been also working on other computer vision projects like object detection, optical character recognition, facial recognition or optical flow. Moreover, I'm a .NET senior software developer with 6 years of commercial practice with a great experience in designing and implementing database applications. I'm really passionate about computer vision, so this offer is very interesting for me.
