Dear Sir, From the sounds of it, this is a relatively simple project - all it requires is an implementation of a maze-searching algorithm (e.g. dijkstra's algorithm). Seeing as you just require text-based inputs and outputs this won't require any image manipulation or GUIs, which will make the task simpler. I have a few questions about the task: - Will there always be an entry and exit (say top left and bottom right) or will the programme have to find entries and exits by scanning the maze? - Will the mazes have more than one solution? - if not a simpler and faster algorithm can be used - Will there be a wall defined round the edge of the maze?
