Good day, I am a radio producer and broadcaster in the UK. My experience includes pre-recorded radio programmes, audiobooks, podcasts and voiceover production. I have all of the digital editing hard/software I require at my home and am therefore able to guarantee a fast turnaround on projects. All of my work is completed to a very high standard using Adobe Audition CS6 and can be delivered in whatever audio format(s) you require. ie. wav, mp3, flac, aat etc... I am a qualified and trained voice-over artist with more than 5 years of experience in the field. My degree is in Language Practice, where we were trained to do voice-overs for radio as well as public speaking. I mostly did academic voice-overs for an interactive learning program, but I also did radio commercials and children’s stories. I am South African, but have a very standard and adaptable accent. During my year as English teacher in South Korea, I had to teach in an American accent. I also lived in England for two years, so I can easily switch to an English accent as well. I have a partner that has his own sound recording studio. He is extremely professional and his sound quality is of a very high quality. He is also a professional sound editor with an advanced understanding of sound-editing programs. I have a huge passion for voice-over work and know a lot about the field. In my 4-year course, I was chosen as the best public speaker. I have a strong and deep voice and an excellent knowledge of pitch, tone and how to carry my voice. I am also a professional proofreader and translator, so if there are any errors in the original script, I would be able to spot them. I have professional grade tools for all audio recording. I have a familiar and fast workflow for recording voice talent and delivering professional results. Working on this project, I will be recording my own voice, and performing all editing and processing to deliver a consistent sound with no volume drops, background noise, unpleasant noises such as breathing/mouth noises, plosives (P's/B's) or otherwise noticeable sounds or artifacts. For the voice talent, I have a confident deep male voice well suited for narration and voice acting. I have good annunciation and skill for maintaining interest for the listener by varying cadence, tone, diction and word emphasis. For the audio, I have professional quality dynamic/condenser microphones, Professional grade audio interface, ProTools 11 and 10, Logic Pro X, as well as a very large suite of professional audio plugins for compressing, EQ'ing mastering, and otherwise processing the final product. I am very familiar with mixing a wide variety of audio, including music, voice overs, Dialogue replacement for picture, Foley/Sound effects etc. I reference check all my mixes on a variety of playback systems, speakers, and headphones to ensure a professional grade mix worthy of commercial release. I typically work with audio at 44.1 khz, 24 bit resolution. I can deliver the finished product all as one track, or split in into multiple tracks. Unless otherwise specified, the finished files will be CD quality 16 bit, 44.1 .wav audio file.
